London International Horse Show 2023: 5 Great Moments

The London International Horse Show 2023 brought together the global equestrian community for six days of excitement, showcasing the very best in Equestrian sports. 1. The EQ Community showed up for Pivo!
The London International Horse Show was a vibrant gathering of the EQ community, and Pivo was thrilled to connect with so many of our users from across the globe. Over the six days, we had the pleasure of hearing your fantastic feedback on how Pivo is revolutionizing EQ sports. Meeting those who were discovering the Pivo Pod’s potential for better training was equally rewarding. Your thoughts, ideas, and support inspire us as we continue to develop the world’s best EQ tech product.

2. Emma Webb’s incredible story was an inspiration to us all
The event kicked off with a touching celebration of Emma Webb’s remarkable journey. She completed a phenomenal 157.85-mile walk, culminating at London’s ExCel, after towing ‘Miles’ (a life-size resin horse) from the David Broome Event Centre in Chepstow. This incredible effort raised funds for Papyrus (Prevention of Youth Suicide) and Riders’ Minds, showcasing the power of determination and compassion.
3. UK Dressage superstar Charlotte Dujardin danced to victory
Day two witnessed the dazzling performance of UK Dressage Superstar Charlotte Dujardin and her 10-year-old chestnut stallion, Imhotep. The duo set the ExCeL ablaze, claiming victory in the FEI Dressage World Cupâ„¢ Freestyle to Music. The breathtakingly beautiful performance earned them a score of 89.465%, leaving the home crowd in sheer delight.
4. Reigning Olympic Champion Ben Maher was on top of the world
Reigning Olympic Champion Ben Maher also showcased his prowess in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cupâ„¢ Qualifier. Thirty-six top horse and rider combinations vied for valuable points to qualify for the World Cupâ„¢ Final in Riyadh. In a textbook round, World No. 2 Ben Maher and his nine-year-old gelding, Enjeu de Grisien, clinched the win, earning a well-deserved standing ovation from the home crowd.
5. (Mr. Blue) Sky was the limit for Guy Williams
The LeMieux Puissance provided a thrilling finale on the third day of the show. Thirteen combinations, including Puissance specialists and first-timers, competed to clear the famous red wall. In a record-breaking performance, Guy Williams and Mr. Blue Sky soared over the wall at a remarkable height of 2.18m, claiming their third consecutive win at the venue and marking a total of five wins. The crowd witnessed a spectacular achievement in the International Arena.
